Natural And Organic Acne Treatment Options

There is no shortage of acne treatment options on the market nowadays. However, the majority of individuals have many concerns about the harsh chemicals and poorly tested products being sold online and elsewhere. This is the reason why an overwhelming number of people that suffer from acne have begun to turn to a natural acne treatment in order to avoid any complications associated with more conventional treatment options.

Many of the natural acne treatment options available on the market are commonly at home treatments that can be accomplished with over the counter the products.

For instance, one of the most common natural methods of curing acne is an acne diet. This is a process of consuming specific foods and liquids in order to combat the acne and improve the overall health of your skin. Many acne problems are commonly linked to poor diets and this is the reason many individuals can get rid of their acne by following a clear skin acne diet.

The majority of these diets consist of organic and fresh foods, and almost all include drinking large quantities of fruit, vegetables, and water. Some of the foods that are usually avoided in these diets include sugar and high fat foods (especially dairy), fried foods, and refined carbohydrates.

Another natural acne treatment option that is suitable for those that do not get results with a natural acne diet is the use of vitamins. For instance, topical vitamin A solutions are commonly used to dry the top layers of skin and remove acne. However, these types of topical vitamin solutions should be used with caution as large doses can cause damage to the skin.

For those of you that want to go a completely organic and natural route to curing acne, there are many herbs that have been used for quite a long time. Many natural plants, roots, and other herbs can be used with great success, some of which include Red Clover, Dandelion Root, Strawberry Leaves, and Burdock root.

If you are planning on utilizing a natural acne treatment to help treat your skin issues, it is highly recommended to consult your doctor or medical professional before hand. There are a number of negative side effects that may be experienced as a result of misusing natural ingredients and remedies. You should always make sure you do thorough research and consult a professional before attempting any natural home treatment or diet.

DENNIS HARRISON: Farmer turned organic entrepreneur. GET INVOLVED!

Posted on 16 January 2017 by admin

DENNIS HARRISON lives and works on a farm that has been in his family for four generations. Until recently, he practiced the feedlot farming, where you cage the animals and feed them heavy doses of antibiotics and hormones and a way to increase productivity and control costs. After BSE hit in early 2000 Dennis and his wife Denise decided to reassess their practices and get back to basics. They put their herd out to pasture and eliminated all chemicals. Now their beef, pork, lamb, chicken and duck are 100% organically raised and are in demand from businesses and restaurants alike.

Tips For Choosing The Right Organic Food

Posted on 16 November 2016 by admin

Tips For Choosing The Right Organic Food

Combining a variety of different health vitamins and nutrients with your diet is extremely important. To assist you with creating the perfect healthy eating plan, we have put together some helpful tips that should answer some of your questions:

Healthy carbs and whole grains:

Choosing healthy carbs and fibres, most importantly whole grains, is excellent for providing energy that lasts. Another benefit is that whole grains are packed with antioxidants and phytochemicals that assist in protecting against heart disease, diabetes and even some cancers. Don’t confuse healthy carbs with the bad carbs. Unhealthy carbs have had the bran, fibre and nutrients removed, allowing the food to digest quickly which causes spikes in your blood sugar and energy. Refined sugar as well as white rice and flour are examples of bad carbs.

Enjoy fats without getting fat:

Your heart, brain and cells need fats to be healthy. The big question is – how do you choose your fats wisely? The answer is actually simple. Your diet needs to include monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. Foods that offer these fats include avocado, certain nuts and seeds as well as fish such as salmon, anchovies and herring. Fats that you should limit include saturated fats and trans fats. These are found in red meat, dairy products and a variety of processed foods.

Choose protein power:

Forget Red Bull. Protein provides you with a natural energy boost and will last a lot longer than an expensive energy drink. The key with proteins is to try different types. Some variations include beans, nuts and soy products. Also remember to limit your portions as it is common for people to have too much protein. The key is to focus on quality proteins, found in fresh fish, chicken, eggs etc…

Don’t forget calcium and vitamins:

Calcium and vitamin D are essential for your bones. Breakfast is a perfect opportunity to provide your body with its daily requirements, but if you don’t manage to get in 1000g of calcium per day, then you should consider taking a supplement.

Using these guidelines should make your organic food and health shop products work for you!
